Psychiatric Assessment Report with/or without Parenting Capacity Assessment

These reports are sought when a diagnostic clarification around a known or potential psychiatric condition of a parent, both parents, or a child.  A recommendation around psychiatric treatment or the management is provided by a Psychiatrist experienced in Court involved parenting matters.

If required, reports can also include parenting capacity assessments.

A psychiatric assessment report (PAR), with or without a parenting capacity report may be requested by an individual, the Court or jointly by both parents or for a child/ren where the parents both provide their written consent.

All appointments for an individual psychiatric assessment report with or without a parenting capacity report, require joint instruction to the Expert.

The Order for the Expert appointment and report scope will be reviewed and written confirmation of acceptance by the Expert under their Terms of engagement for PAR and PAR/PC will be provided, before the matter progresses to a reserved booking for the Expert.
