Dr. Natasha Dafo

 

 

Dr. Dafo is a clinical psychologist who has worked with children, adults and families across a range of clinical settings for 14 years. Natasha has a wealth of therapy and assessment experience, having worked in inpatient and community mental health, consultation-liaison psychiatry, community health services, research and, primary care services. In addition to her consulting role with the Relationspace, Natasha has an established private practice focusing on paediatric psychological assessment and intervention services, for issues such as neurodevelopmental disorders, behavioural issues, trauma/stressor related disorders and parenting issues.

Natasha holds a Doctorate in Clinical and Health Psychology and Bachelor of Psychology. She is a fellow of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law.  She is an approved AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia clinical supervisor and registrar program principal supervisor (Clinical Psychology).

Natasha has relationship with the University of Newcastle, holding the position of senior conjoint clinical lecturer in the Post-Graduate Clinical Psychology Program. In 2018 and 2019, she was the course coordinator for two postgraduate clinical psychology subjects (Advanced Clinical Psychology with Children and Families and, Clinical Psychology with Children and Families).
